Identity documents we translate

Send everything from the same application together and the whole set is quoted at once.

Passport data page$59

Prices do not include tax. A passport with many stamps is quoted as a set when that comes out lower for you.

What to check before uploading

Passport scans fail for predictable reasons.

  • A photo taken at an angleThe machine-readable zone at the bottom has to be readable. Shoot straight down, in daylight if possible.
  • Only half the stampsIf the application asks for travel history, missing pages mean a second order later.
  • A different spelling of your nameTell us which spelling you use on Canadian documents and we keep the translation consistent with it.
  • A screenshot of a screenshotEach re-photograph loses detail. Send the original file from your phone or scanner.

Questions we get

How much does a passport translation cost?

$59 for the data page. Visa and entry stamps are $7 each, because each stamp is translated separately.

Do I need every page translated?

Usually only the data page, plus stamp pages when travel history is requested. Send everything and we quote only what is needed.

How long does it take?

Most regular certified translations are ready within 1-2 business days.

Can you translate a national ID card?

Yes. An ID card counts as one document, both sides together, at $59.

Can you match the spelling of my name?

Yes. Tell us which spelling appears on your Canadian documents and we transliterate consistently with it, noting the original.

What if my passport has dozens of stamps?

Then we price the set as a whole rather than stamp by stamp, whichever comes out lower for you.
